Butcher Block Construction
All of our stair treads are constructed in a butcherblock style from 100% solid wood. Butcherblock style has distinct advantages such as greater stability, higher strength, and more beautiful wood grain.
All of our treads feature full length rails (no joints in the length) and full height rails (no vertical joints).
Premium Hardwoods
We use only premium Appalachian Hardwoods. We specialize in Walnut, White Oak, Maple and Cherry but can build from any wood species you desire, just reach out.
All of our lumber is FAS or better grading and we take great pride in our assembly and color selection on each individual piece.
3 Finish Options
- Unfinished- ready for your stain and finish.
– - Hardwax oil – A matte tough finish that’s easy to field repair as needed.
– - Conversion Varnish – our most protective finish with a satin sheen and a low build.
