Floating Shelves generally ship via UPS ground except for extreme lengths. That’s pretty straightforward and everyone is pretty familiar with UPS so we won’t go into much detail here. We have custom foam packaging made for our shelves so they arrive in great shape and we provide tracking info as soon as your shelf hits the truck!

 Countertops generally ship LTL Freight. LTL is “Less than Truckload”. LTL freight will arrive at your home on a large semi truck. All of our residential deliveries provide a lift gate for delivery. 

Things to know about LTL Shipment:

All LTL Shipments are curbside. Trust us you don’t want to know the cost to have someone deliver your countertop inside your home. All shipments from WWW are standard LTL and will be curbside deliveries. A lot of the time you’ll get a nice driver who will be happy to drag your crate into the garage or onto the driveway with the pallet jack, but it’s not a guarantee!

Long tops will require assistance to unload. LTL Deliveries are made with one driver and a pallet jack. If your countertop is over 8′ long he/she simply doesn’t have a way to unload this solo. The best practice is to roll the countertop out past the end of the truck and then support it with a few people and lowering it to the ground with the liftgate. 

 If you are unable to aid in delivery please call us before shipment so we can figure out a way to get your top to you!

– We build a custom crate for every top!
We build a crate from 2×4’s and plywood for every top that goes out the door. It’s fully protected on all sides from freight mishaps. That said, please inspect your top for damage upon arrival as freight companies can be rough!
