
At Walnut Wood Works, a custom solid-hardwood edge-grain butcher block countertop costs about $97 to $148 per square foot, delivered, including finishing. An 8-foot by 25-inch black walnut top is $1,943 and the same top in hard maple is $1,893; a 6-foot by 36-inch walnut island top is $2,012.
Actual delivered prices from the same pricing engine as our builder: edge-grain construction, natural oil finish, 1-1/2" thick for perimeter counters and 1-3/4" for islands. Every top is made to order, so any size in between prices out the same way.

Included in every price: solid hardwood (no plywood or veneer), your choice of edge profile, shop-applied finish, a custom 2×4-and-plywood crate, and delivery to the lower 48 states. Every countertop, shelf and mantel carries our 3-year craftsmanship warranty.
Optional extras: CNC sink and range cutouts are $150 each. Rush production (1-2 weeks) adds 80%. Standard lead time is 8-10 weeks for countertops.
Not included: installation. Solid wood cuts and fastens with standard woodworking tools, so a carpenter or experienced DIYer can install it.
